The mission of Lansford Alive is to revitalize the traditional commercial district of Lansford Pennsylvania by following the four point approach for success as written in the state’s Main Street Program. This four point approach to downtown revitalization includes design, promotions, organization and economic restructuring.
Through organization, we will provide the leadership to build consensus and cooperation among the stakeholders and responsible groups in the business community.
Through promotion, we will market the unique characteristics of our downtown in a positive manner to shoppers, investors, new businesses, tourists and others.
Through good design, we will enhance the physical appearance of our business district and encourage others to do the same.
Through economic restructuring, we will strengthen the economic base of our existing business district while identifying new niches and opportunities for development.
